Jennifer is in awe and wonder at the majesty of our natural world.

Jennifer spends as much time as possible immersed in the landscape travelling around the country.

At a time of great threat to the environment, Jennifer aims to deepen our connection to nature and instill caring for country.

Jennifer strives to embody the feeling and an appreciation of our surroundings of “The Great Southern Land” through her artwork.

Artist Bio

Jennifer has spent her whole life involved in the arts.

Having a professional artist as a father, family and social life revolved around the arts, family houses in Eltham and West Coast Victoria where there was a constant throng of creative people coming, going in between social gatherings and attending art galleries.

The atmosphere was fueled with the people, the arts and politics.

Jennifer commenced life drawing at fifteen, a discipline which is continued to this day.

It was only natural for Jennifer to proceed to art school.

Jennifer’s first exhibition was at nineteen.

Jennifer also studied stained glass and art in Indonesia.

Jennifer has travelled extensively, painting in Italy and Indonesia.

Jennifer’s long career has taken on many forms including teaching (Melbourne State College, Ivanhoe Grammar), Stained glass (e.g., church windows), puppetry {e.g., Rubbery Figures - Peter Nicholson) theatre design, graphic art, murals (children's wing at Goulburn Valley Hospital}, hand painted fabrics (retail shop in Sth Yarra).

Jennifer's primary form of expression is painting.
